Consultations
CCW carries out its own consultations on a
range of subjects, including for example proposals to designate
sites, draft policy and initiatives. It also regularly responds to
consultations from other organisations.
Our Own Consultations
Consultation provides you with the opportunity to have your say
on CCW developments. It helps us to understand how a policy or
initiative might affect you and lets us know about any ideas or
suggestions you may have. We consult because your input helps us to
improve our ideas and shape our work to make policies more
effective.We welcome feedback from anyone with relevant views or
information.

Our Consultation Responses
CCW is an independent public body whose role is to sustain
Wales’ natural environment, both on land and at sea. So we
routinely respond to external consultations, to ensure that we
communicate our aspirations and concerns.
In order to promote transparency in the way we work, we have
