Celebrate World Wetlands Day
The second of February every year is World Wetlands Day. Over 2,000 wetlands around the world have been designated as Ramsar sites to mark their international importance for wetland wildlife. There are 169 Ramsar sites in the United Kingdom, most of these are nature reserves and many are easy to visit.
