This is a cultural walk to Ynys Llanddwyn, near Newborough,
Anglesey.
The walk is organised as part of the Anglesey Walking Festival.

This is a chance to take part in a fantastic walk along the
beach to Ynys Llanddwyn. During the 5th Century this tidal island
was home to Santes Dwynwen, the patron saint of love in Wales and
is steeped in local history and folklore.
Countryside Council for Wales Senior Reserve Manager Graham
Williams will guide us through the Island’s rich history and help
identify plants and animals along the way, we may also get to see
some seals who can often be found hauled up on the rocks just off
Llanddwyn.
Length & grade of walk: Moderate 3-4
hours
Fee: Free.
Please note £3 parking fee in Forestry Commission car park
