A morning of talks and live moths at the Visitor Centre.
This year's theme for National Moth Night is "Moths of
Brownfield sites" of which Uskmouth is an excellent example.
The indoor session will finish at 12pm and will be followed by a
walk to search for day-flying moths.
Meet: Visitor Centre entrance
Leader: Martin Anthoney, County Lepidoptera
Recorder.
Can I manage the walk?
Most walks will involve walking between 3 and 4 kilometres on
surfaced tracks. If you need advice on the suitability of a walk,
please telephone 01633 636363. Appropriate clothing and footwear is
strongly recommended for these events.
Dogs, except guide dogs, are not permitted to any of these
events as they could disturb the birds and other wildlife that we
are trying to see.
Your Safety
The safety of everyone attending these events is of the utmost
importance to us. However, accidents can happen and people
attending the events do so at their own risk.
