CADW - Heritage Tourism
The £19m Heritage Tourism Project will
maximise the economic value of heritage through increasing the
volume, length and value of visits to Wales.
The project will ensure that Wales' outstanding heritage is
more accessible and enjoyable to visit - both for visitors and
people who live in Wales.
The project will deliver interpretive infrastructure, visitor
orientation and reception facilities and tours, trails and events
intended to ensure that the key stories about the history and
heritage of Wales are presented effectively and coherently and that
Welsh heritage tourism is founded on authentic and meaningful
stories and experiences. Implementation will be guided by a
heritage interpretation plan for Wales.
