National Access Forum
The National Access Forum for Wales brings
together representatives of landowners and managers, countryside
access user groups, public bodies and voluntary sector
organisations to consider countryside access issues for the
country. CCW administers and chairs the Forum and all meetings are
open to the public...
The Forum advises the Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) and
the Welsh Government (WG).
The primary purposes of the National Access Forum are to help
CCW and the Welsh Government:
- improve the quality and extent of access to
the countryside and coasts of Wales
- extend the opportunities for enjoyment and responsible outdoor
recreation to all.
In pursuing this goal, the National Access Forum recognises the
close inter-relationship that exists between access management and
the overall environmental, economic, social and cultural well being
of our rural communities.
Future Meetings:
- 10th July 2012 (Ladywell House, Park Street, Newtown, SY16
1RD)
- 13th November 2012 (South Wales location to be arranged)
