Includes information on the mapping review 2012. The Countryside and Rights of Way (CRoW) Act was passed in 2000. The Act gives a right of access on foot for the purpose of open-air recreation. In Wales, the right given under the Act commenced in May 2005.

Draft map

The 2012 Draft map was issued on the 16 July 2012 for consultation. Members of the public as well as people with a registered interest in the land have the opportunity to comment on these maps as "representations".

Closing date for representations is on or before 23rd November 2012.

Maps based on Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 maps.
