Migneint-Arenig-Dduallt SPA is a large upland
site that stretches between Ysbyty Ifan and Penmachno in the north
down to Rhydymain in the south, and from Trawsfynydd in the west to
just east of Llyn Celyn. The site is of European importance for
breeding hen harrier, peregrine falcon and merlin. The SPA
comprises an extensive tract of blanket bog, heathland and
grassland.
